Equipping local churches to ask questions, listen well, and walk with others through doubt.

Local Community

We want to provide church leaders in our community with a support system where they can share their challenges, experiences, and insights in a safe and understanding environment. While the groups are designed to be focused on the material provided by the guest lecturer, they also provide connections that help local church leaders grow personally and professionally while strengthening the fabric of the communities they serve.

Respectful Dialogue

Jesus treated those with genuine questions with respect, providing them with space to ask questions and seek understanding without fear of judgment or rejection. Following his example in the way “have mercy on those who doubt” can lead to deeper self-reflection, the resolution of doubts, and even a stronger, more authentic faith, as well as fostering empathy, compassion, and a stronger sense of community.

Doubt Forward

Many today embrace what they doubt rather than what they believe. However, a constructive approach to doubt can serve as a catalyst, propelling individuals to embark on a journey that leads toward a profound and deep conviction. It is not enough to merely accept doubt aimlessly; we must instead look deeply at our doubts and the beliefs we take for granted without realizing it. This transformative process yields a faith that not only plumbs greater depths but also stands resolutely steadfast in the face of life's trials.

Method

Once or twice per year, we bring Christianity’s brightest minds from around the world to Amarillo to teach us. Afterwards, we form groups with the aim of deepening understanding and helping local church leaders support each other as they shepherd their congregations through doubt. Throughout the year, we have local church leaders who are available to listen to your questions about faith and doubt, and to guide you in directions that may prove fruitful.
